Zeb, I just had a look at your photos. Those 2 girls Michelle and Rebecca, they're the ones I bought those sketches I mention before. Seriously awesome stuff.

I was asking them to draw me something. The one in the left of the photo did. It was pretty cool. I think they might have gotten annoyed by my harassment so I left them alone after that.

It's obviously not complete, but I think I have places for everything even if they are not full of sufficient and accurate content*. I found most of the blogstuff via google, this thread, other people's writeups, and Zeb.

*eg the figures section. I'll have to reread writeups and do a bit more research as I know there's a lot out there but don't know enough off the top of my head. And ... well, six hours was too much time Razz

Also, if you want to make a page that is relevant, tell me and I can link to it.

I also want to add more photos and art from/of people at the actual event, so if anyone wants free advertising... *shameless* Cool

I'm going to try and add a section for 'artists at DO' with artwork (eg like I did here ) but it's going to be a big project and may need a separate page, so I'm mulling over the how-tos of that right now. Also still collecting the artists, so to speak.

Actually, if anyone has thoughts - should I just stick everyone who ever had a stall (as there are a lot of repeats anyway) or separate them by year, or just do the 'latest'/upcoming batch?

If anyone has any issues, or wants anything else added - well. There are about 17 different ways of getting hold of me Smile

An update on this (four hours later... Rolling Eyes

I didn't realise that for a lot of the 'add your own' modules you had to be a member (as I was always logged in >.> ) so are there any polls or anything like that people would like me to add? However obvious or silly...

stuff like 'which figures are best for displays/favourite fandom/best selling whatever/needs more mermaids'... off the top of my head Wink

(because anyone can vote in those - I just have to set them up first)
(the old adage - if you ask, then there were seven other people wondering XD )

Also feel free to SPAM ME with links to art and stuff you'd like included. There are a LOT of people and galleries and blogs etc for me to trawl, so the more you give me, the more likely I am to include something on you Very Happy

(I haven't even categorised the relevant blogs etc for different subjects - eg figures, cosplay, talking about art)

I've added links to some online English doujinshi etc - again, not enough time in the world to read through all off them, so I'm risking quality for content here and always appreciate comments or extra info.

And yes, if it gets much bigger I WILL break it up - but into what, i don't yet know, as I need enough on one part of it to move out on its own.
Comments on 'please put this section by that section/add more links throughout etc' also wanted and welcome.

Had several problems with my site not allowing batch uploads of photos, that's now fixed, and I have the 2008 and 2009 gallery shots up.

Be aware they are taken more from a historical viewpoint, so they are not overly exciting, but you will see who/what was there for the most part.
