@Arkillian - I reckon compliments from Zeb are the best kind! Considering how wonderfully frank she is Hope you feel recharged soon. |
They are I like to make mah Zeb happeh ^^ *snuggles* I feel so bad taking money off her for art cause she loves it so much T.T I'd draw for free always if they were all as passionate about my art as she is |

As for that secret squirreally text message, if its not too late... YES PLEASE.
p.s next weekend, you and me baby, dinner/lunch. |
Coolies- will do -*salutes*
Next week should be ok. You can come to my place this time if you want Unless you want to take me to your anime shrine again to shove artbooks in my hands? |
I think I'm still missing artbooks from the last time you were over... kidding
Sure sure I will come over to you baby!
*blushes at both Rosie and Arkillian* aawww you guuuuyyzzzz!!!
Edit: p.s. this Doujin Overload has re-charged my love for artbooks, since the quality of the ones I did get thrilled me beyond words.
I think I might do reviews of the Hiyaku Studio books first before getting into some of my more recent Japanese acquisitions. |

Speaking of artbooks... http://www.nattoli.net/reviews
Nat is an old friend who recently starting reviewing artbooks the way I should have done them way back when I started. She covers some pretty amazing stuff (sorry Shine Spark et. al may not be your thing... mix of moe and bon bons.)
The point of me bringing it up was to point out the number of doujinshi artbooks she has reviewed. I have quite a few doujin artbooks too from artists (either released via Comiket or out) and they would be good to look at as far as how artists here in NZ could structure their books, think about topic matters or even presentation.
Read the reviews, look at the pictures, hope they help. My collection is also available to anyone interested: http://www.geekchixxx.com/animemanga/complete-list-of-artbooks/ |

@Des ... pfftt keep dreaming... remember what I said about my game of assigning artists?
@Arkillian... let your audience be your final critique, because for the most part we're not influenced by bias, fears or assumptions
Just make sure you get as much opinion as possible from peoples whose opinions you trust to be subjective, constructive but honest. |

Heh- I guess we start somewhere though, eh? Have you found a new printer yet? Have you tried Printstop+ in Auckland? I usually get my printing done through them as I'm friends with a printer there, but they were flat out doing uni prints when I needed my art book done. I've had alot of success from them I'm not sure what their pricing is like however as I get mates rates >.> |

Oh, we might try this printer that was recommended by ProjectNabe.
I don't know the specifics yet, but they're going out of their way to provide us with the details when they get around to printing off some stuff for Armaggeddon. They're very kind =) |
